Happy day for sweet Drake and Amber! This couple reached out to us about capturing their big day at Canabarn in Staunton, VA. We met them over coffee and they knew they wanted us to be there for their day. The first thing we loved about Amber and Drake is that they love wholeheartedly and are just genuinely SWEET. They just laugh and have a good time, and are so incredibly laid back. We knew we were going to get along just fine with these two!
After arriving to the venue, Amber was getting ready in the bridal suite with all her girls and the bright sunny light just came right in…it was the PRETTIEST day of October! The guys were downstairs throwing corn hole, and just having fun being together. The couple got married outside under the arbor overlooking the mountains, and Drake couldn’t help but shed a few tears when Amber came down the aisle. She looked like a goddess!
Our absolute favorite part of the day was when we got to sneak away with Amber and Drake and take their bride and groom photos down by the river. The light danced over the tall grass, and they finally got some alone time as one. We were so thankful for the Jeep ride from one of the owners of the venue, Kara, and for her vision of photos down by the river…they were the best photos of the whole day…just magical!! After uniting as one, the celebration started! Tons of good food, dancing, and great laughs! We felt so HONORED to be there.
