Connection Through Horses | Ride With Pride

We photographed Ride With Pride to help share the work of this local nonprofit with our community. Serving children and adults in greater Augusta County, the organization offers therapeutic riding and horse-centered activities for people with physical, emotional, and developmental needs.

Their motto, “Horse as Teacher, Therapist, & Friend,” speaks to the connection at the heart of their work. Lessons are tailored to each participant and include riding skills as well as caring for horses through grooming, tacking up, and saddling. These activities offer opportunities to practice responsibility, build trust, and work toward greater confidence and independence.

Our session was a chance to introduce that mission through photographs. Take a look below, and visit Ride With Pride’s website to learn more about their programs and ways to support their work.
